Team TUSI envisions a Liberian Community in Charlotte that is stronger, more connected, and more empowered over the next three years.
We see a community that embraces better technology and communication systems to keep members informed, engaged, and involved. We envision financial growth through stronger support for Liberian-owned businesses, community partnerships, and economic opportunities that help families succeed. We see expanded scholarship support for students, youth mentorship programs, family-centered initiatives, and the development of resources such as daycare support and educational opportunities that benefit working families.
We also envision signature events like the Cappy Family Fun Day growing into a major community tradition that brings families, youth, and elders together in celebration, unity, and cultural pride.
Our vision is to redefine what it means to be a LIBAC member by creating real value, stronger member benefits, and a deeper sense of belonging within the organization. We see a future where elders receive greater outreach, care, and recognition, where families feel supported, and where young people are inspired to become future leaders of the community.
Team TUSI believes LIBAC can become a model of unity, service, and opportunity for Liberians in Charlotte. This vision will require commitment, trust, and collective effort, but we believe that when we stand together as one community, united by purpose and hope, we can achieve lasting progress for this generation and the generations to come.
